Our Financial Planning Process


Step 1


Initial Phone Consultation

15 minutes

Our process begins with a 15-minute phone conversation to get to know you, answer basic questions and gain a better sense of what you are looking for in a financial planning relationship.


Step 2


Initial Office Meeting

45 to 60 minutes

Our primary objective of this meeting is to identify and select goals that align with your hopes, aspirations, and core values. We will begin by listening to you because we want to understand both the quantitative and qualitative aspects of your life and financial circumstances. This will give us a clear picture of where you are financially and where you would like to be in the future. In this meeting, we will also discuss our planning process, investment philosophy and any associated fees.


Step 3


Think on it

Hiring an advisor to work with is a decision that shouldn’t be rushed or taken lightly. We do not expect nor encourage you to make the decision hastily. Why? Because we’re looking to build long-term relationships with our clients. That means that before you make any final decisions, you should feel comfortable and trusting in our new relationship. Step 4


Mutual Commitments

This is the stage where any further questions or concerns you may have should be discussed. We strive to be transparent with our clients and client-prospects. It is imperative during the contracting stage that we each have a clear sense of roles and responsibilities. When you are ready to move forward, we will take care of the necessary paperwork and guide you in each step of the process.


Step 5



Because we value working with those who we believe are a good fit for our firm, we tend to be selective in bringing aboard new clients. If we mutually decide to work together, we’ll work in tandem to move accounts, build a financial plan, implement your investment strategy and more. We’ve found that successful client experiences happen with good mutual agreements and communication.


Step 6


Monitoring and Adapting your Plan

As you work towards your goals, we will check in from time to time, reviewing your situation and making any necessary recommendations and adjustments to keep you on a smart path.
