Today’s technology and engineering professionals face a host of unique financial planning challenges. Operating within an industry that often relies on stock-based compensation, many industry professionals are not only high-income earners, but work within a highly competitive sector that endures the highest employment turnover in the S&P.
Unique industry challenges require unique approaches to financial planning. Technology and engineering professionals require experienced advice with particular emphasis on mitigating potential tax burdens that arise throughout the arch of their career.
Navigating the financial complexities of stock options can be challenging. You need a financial specialist that understands your company’s retirement plans in all their shapes and sizes, be it: 401(k) plans, Roth 401(k) plans, 401(k) rollovers, employee stock ownership and supplemental retirement plans (ESOP’s), restricted stock awards (RSA’s), restricted stock units (RSU’s), personal investment accounts, or Medtronic qualified plan account to Roth account conversions.
At Sonoma Wealth Advisors, we have time-tested experience working with current and former Medtronic employees, as well as retirees. We partner with you to create a personalized financial plan that progresses and adapts as your life and career evolve. Our extensive financial plans include:
